Call for papers
The University of Mostar invites researchers, educators and practitioners to submit original scientific papers. The programme welcomes methodological contributions and applications supported by rigorous evaluation, with particular interest in intelligent educational systems, generative and multimodal AI, language technologies, robotics, computer vision and responsible deployment of AI.
Full paper
12–15pagesIncluding references.
Short paper
6–11pagesIncluding references. A limited number of short papers will be accepted.
Can be presented as a poster.
Presentation formats
Accepted papers that the Programme Committee selects for the main programme are presented as talks.

Author guidelines
Seven steps from choosing a track to presenting your paper at Science Day.
Choose a track and paper type
Track 1, Advanced Technologies in Education, or Track 2, Artificial Intelligence Applications. Full papers have 12–15 pages and short papers 6–11 pages, references included.
Prepare the manuscript
Write in English in the Springer LNCS/CCIS template (LaTeX or Word, download below). Reviewing is double-blind, so the submitted manuscript must be anonymised: remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements and anything else that identifies the authors, and cite your own work in the third person.

Use of generative AIWhat is allowed, what must be labelled and what is not allowed
Following Springer Nature policy
What matters is how AI is used. Authors remain fully responsible for the whole paper, including the accuracy of every citation.
- Allowed, with a declarationGrammar and language editing, readability, formatting, translation and summarising text the authors wrote. Check every output for accuracy.
- With care, clearly labelledOutlines, drafting sections from the authors’ own material, alternative phrasing, reference management and figures built from verifiable source data. Label all such content.
- Not allowedAI writing results or discussion on its own, generating scientific claims or interpretations, producing data or figures presented as empirical, listing AI as an author, or creating content from prompts without verifiable source material.
Describe any use of AI in the paper, in the methodology or a separate AI statement, and confirm author accountability. Reviewers must not upload manuscripts to generative AI tools. Springer Nature AI policy
Submit the complete paperby 19 Mar 2027
Submit through the submission form on this page, in one of the two tracks; each track has its own button. Upload the anonymised PDF of the complete paper; abstracts and extended abstracts are not considered. You receive a paper ID and a link to follow the review. The work must be original and not under review elsewhere.
Review
Each manuscript passes a similarity check and at least three independent double-blind reviews covering originality, relevance, technical soundness, methodology, quality of evidence and clarity.
Notification of acceptance9 Apr 2027
Authors receive the decision together with the reviewers’ comments. The decision states whether the paper is accepted for a talk in the main programme or for the poster session.
Camera-ready version and registrationby 23 Apr 2027
Revise the paper according to the reviews and the final formatting requirements, and add the author names and affiliations back in. Pay the publication fee of €200 per paper by the start of the conference (21 April 2027). At least one author of each paper registers with the paper registration form on this page; other participants use the free attendance registration. Springer’s licence-to-publish form is sent to authors later.
Present at Science Day23 Apr 2027
Present the paper in person in Mostar, as a talk or at the poster session. Only presented papers, talks and posters alike, are included in the proceedings.
